The 2024 Airfield Drags is here! A few reminders for everyone….. Participants: you must be preregistered for this event and registration is now closed. We, unfortunately, cannot accommodate those who show up and have not preregistered. Gates open to registered racers at 3pm today and 8am tomorrow morning. Follow the signs to the admissions staff who will take payment, provide you with more information, and direct you on parking. Spectators: gates open to spectators at 5pm today and 10am tomorrow….
That’s right it’s that time again. Tomorrow starts this years 2024 Airfield Drags weekend. Tonight it’s the calm before the storm, but tomorrow morning the work will start for our organizers to turn an active runway into a drag strip. Test and Tune starts tomorrow night, gates open for spectators at 5:00pm with live music starting at 7:30, along with our vendors and food trucks. Saturday morning the gates open at 10:00am for spectators and we’ll have even more food…
….until the greatest vintage drag racing event of the summer! Vintage cars ripping down an airport runway, food trucks galore, live music, vendors of all kinds, “valve cover” race track for the kids, a mobile dyno, and you!!!!! Be there!!!
